Ride the Wave Afghan Crochet Pattern | KT and the Squid

I started making this blanket weeks ago and finally finished it last week. Testers have finished their testing swatches and the pattern is available to you all! The Squid was so happy to finally have a blanket made by her mama. I’m very impressed with how patient she was.

For the blanket pictured I have used Red Heat With Love (which I love for blankets!). For the child size I used 1 skein (about 370 yards) of the white (egg shell), blue (iced aqua) and grey (pewter) and just over 1 skein (about 420 yards) of the pink (bubble gum). For this pattern you can use as many or as few colors as you’d like. I do suggest using at least 2 colors to really make the ripple pop.

Testers rated the difficulty from advanced beginner to intermediate. There are a few stitched a true beginner may not be familiar with but testers also felt the photos in the pattern were very helpful. Plus, as always I’m here for help if you need it 😉
