Lilla Rose Hair Clip Review | KT and the Squid

Recently, my friend Leah of Creative Threads by Leah introduced me to Lilla Rose hair clips. She was kind enough to send me a couple to review and let you all know what I think!

I picked 2 clips to use on the Squid’s hair. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not so great when it comes to the hair department. In my defense the Squid never wants me to do anything with her hair (never has) so I’m a bit rusty. That’s why I was excited to try these out. They looked easy enough for me to handle.

The clips have a strong long rod with a few notches in it to hold it into place. The clip is nice and flexible. The whole thing feels sturdy.

We got 2 sizes which I highly recommend. A XS and a S. The XS works great for the half up dos while the S works well for styles using all her hair. I still need a little practice but the styles are really simple yet they look nice without a lot of effort. It’s quick to put in which is great for our hectic mornings. Lilla Rose has great videos on the site to help you out.

The great thing is, these clips are not only for your hair but they work great as shawl pins as well. I used it on my Topelt shawl and have worn it on other shawls as well. I really like it! I bit fancier than just a pin.

We’ve been using the clips for a couple months now and over all I really enjoyed them! Like I said, the Squid hates anything in her hair but she actually asks me to put these in her hair and (bonus!) she keeps them in!

You can find the clips HERE. They have several sizes and styles to choose from.
Thanks to Leah for letting me try these!
