I joined the CGOA last year when I found out the annual conference was being held near by. I’ve always wanted to attend but the logistics of travel was always an issue. Attending my first conference was a huge eye opener for me. I met so many amazing people I knew virtually in person.

Lion Brand Vel-Luxe (100% polyester; 246yds; medium/4/worsted weight)

3 balls in Eggplant

 

Hook

H/5.0mm Furls Streamline hook (or hook to obtain gauge)

2 Pom Poms 

I used pom poms I found on Etsy that are no longer available. You can find some HERE from We Crochet

 

Notes

The Mayfair Wrap is worked sideways and is easy to adjust the length or width.

 

Gauge

11 dc by 8 rows = 4” square blocked

 

Abbreviations

Ch = chain

St(s) = stitch(es)

Dc = double crochet

Dc2tog = double crochet 2 together

Instructions

Ch 206. (or the desired length)

Row 1: Dc in the 3rd ch (skipped chs do NOT count as a st), and ever ch across. 204

Row 2: Ch 2 (does not count as a st from here on), turn, 2 dc in the 1st st dc in each st until 2 sts remain, dc2tog. 204

Row 3: Ch 2, turn, dc2tog, dc each each st until 1 remains, 2 dc in  the ast st. 204

 

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you have total rows (or to desired width)

 

Fasten off, weave in ends.

 

Sew pom poms onto the points of the wrap.
