Gemstone Wrap Free Crochet Pattern

The Geamstone Wrap is a really fun project. It’s great for beginners and really easy to adjust if needed. The yarn (Hawthorne from We Crochet) is what makes this wrap so beautiful. You’ll really enjoy paying with color. The best part about this wrap is there’s NO ends to weave in!

A while ago I came across a photo of a gorgeous scarf. It wasn’t knit or crochet but the colors were amazing! It was some kind of fabric, it could have been woven but I was so taken by all the colors it gave me the idea for this wrap. My wrap looks nothing like the scarf that inspired me. What I found so interesting about the scarf was that it has so many colors in it (perhaps it was hand dyed) yet they all blended for form almost one uniform look. I knew immediately I wanted to use Hawthorne from We Crochet. It comes in so many colors. Problem was, the more I looked one colorway just didn’t have everything I was looking for. In the end I decided to choose my top 4 favorite colorways and decided to use a stitch pattern so that they all blended to make one harmonious color.

Shown in Skyline, Slabtown, Sylvania and Kenton

I played around with a few color combination options and realized you really can’t go wrong. Honestly, even if you closed your eyes and randomly picked 4 colors it would still come out great. Here are some options that I came up with if you need a little help. Shop all Hawthorne here.
