Gauge
13 sc in the BLO by 16 rows = 4” (blocked, in the round)

Abbreviations
Ch = chain
St = stitch
Sc = single crochet
Esc = extended single crochet
BLO = back loop only

Special Stitches
Extended single crochet (esc) = Insert hook into the stitch indicated, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through one loop, yarn over pull through 2 loops.

Round 1: With the darkest color make an adjustable ring, ch 1, esc 8 times in the ring, close the ring, join
with a slip st t the first st. (8)

Round 2: Ch 1, 2 esc in each st, join with a slip st to the first st. (16)

Round 3: With the lightest color ch 1, sc in the first st, 2 sc in the next, *sc in the next st, 2 sc in the next; repeat from * around, join with a slip st to the first st. (24)

Round 4: Ch 1, working in the BLO sc in the first 2 sts, 2 sc in the next, *sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next; repeat from * around, join with a slip st to the first st. (32)

Round 5: Ch 1, working in the BLO sc in the first 3 sts, 2 sc in the next, *sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next; repeat from * around, join with a slip st to the first st. (40)

Round 6: With the darkest color ch 1, working in the BLO esc in the first 4 sts, 2 esc in the next, *esc in the
next 4 sts, 2 esc in the next; repeat from * around, join with a slip st to the first st. (48)

Round 7: Ch 1, esc in the first 5 sts, 2 esc in the next, *esc in the next 5 sts, 2 esc in the next; repeat from * around, join with a slip st to the first st. (56)

Round 8: With the second lightest color ch 1, sc in the first 6 sts, 2 sc in the next, *sc in the next 6 sts, 2 sc in the next; repeat from * around, join with a slip st to the first st. (64)

Round 9: Ch 1, working in the BLO sc in each st around, join with a slip st to the first st. (64)

Round 10: Repeat round 9.

Round 11: With darkest color ch 1, working in the BLO esc in each st around, join with a slip st to the first st.

Rounds 14-15: Repeat Round 9.

Round 16: With darkest color repeat round 11.

Round 18: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join with a slip st to the first st. (64)

Rounds 19-20: Repeat Round 9.

Round 21: With darkest color repeat round 11.

Round 22: With darkest color repeat round 12.

Round 23: With lightest color repeat round 9.

Round 24: With second lightest color repeat round 9.

Round 25: With middle color repeat round 9.

Round 26: With second darkest color repeat round 9.

Round 27: With darkest color repeat round 9.

Fasten off, weave in ends.
