Hello. I am attempting the dancing squid hat pattern. This is the first time I have tried working from the bottom upwards, and now need to sew up the top. The top measures 9 inches in diameter (with the hat lying flat) – is this about right? How do I go about sewing up, as I cannot find a tutorial on how to do this? Many thanks! Rachel – New Zealand
That would be about 18″ which would fit a toddler…Not sure what size you made but it’s a little small for the sizes I wrote the pattern for. Be sure to check your gauge. I also have the measurements listed in the pattern to check…
For the top simple sew through the stitched at the top of the hat and pull it closed.
Thanks!
Katy
