I love a good bulky weight crochet blanket. Not only are they super cozy but I love how quickly they work up. Plus, if you making them during the colder months they eventually keep your lap warm as you work.
For this free beginner crochet blanket pattern I used Big Value Chunky from King Cole Yarns. I went with a lovely Caramel color because I made this blanket for my husband and thought it was a nice neutral he’d enjoy. Not gonna lie I’m loving the color too! This yarn is perfect for a quick blanket. It’s premium acrylic which is going to be easy to care for and I really like the 2 ply twist which adds to the simple texture of this crochet pattern.
