This crochet blanket pattern is easy enough for a beginner and works up very fast as well. You could easily finish a baby size in 1 day! Although the pattern calls for bulky weight yarn you could substitute with 2 strands of worsted weight yarn. I also used some Red Heart Medley recently and think it would be a good sub as well. The great thing about the Haula Cowl free crochet pattern is it only takes one skein of yarn! That’s about 218 yards. It’s also really quick. I made mine in one evening! The pattern is just one size but you could easily pick up another skein and add more bulk if you wanted.
