The Squidlet Pouch is a free crochet pattern I came up with it to give you some ideas of what you can do with one Squidlet (mini skein). Squidlets are also great for heels and toes of socks or to use as an accent color in your project. This pouch just gives you an idea about how much yarn one Squidlet is.
The construction of the Topelt Shawl Free Crochet Pattern is simple and a great intro to working short rows. First, the trim is made then the body of the shawl is added by working in short rows.
The shawl is extra long and almost scarf-like. This makes it easy to wrap and keep on. It’s also very versatile because you can wear it several different ways. Let it drape like a normal shawl or wrap it round and round to look more like a cowl.
The Mayfair Wrap is a free crochet pattern that is super easy and can be worn in a variety of ways.
The Icebox Cardigan free crochet pattern is vintage inspired and flattering on a curvy body. It is constructed as one piece from the top down. It’s fastened with snaps but you could also use buttons if you’d like. This pattern is rated as intermediate.
The Egmont Shawl is an easy free crochet pattern. This asymmetrical shawl that starts with just a few stitches. I love that it’s the perfect project to take on the go. If you are still a beginner crocheter or looking for a simple pattern this is perfect for you!

I designed this shawl for those beautiful striped yarns out there. The Doty Shawl is asymmetrical and starts with just s few stitches. I love how the stripes get thinner as the shawl gets wider. The great thing is you can use any yarn and any appropriate size needles.

This shawl can be done in any size with any yarn and appropriate size hook. Use a lighter weight yarn for a delicate shawl or use a yarn like I used for a real statement piece.

Ch = chain
Eesc = extra extended single crochet
T-ch: turning chain
Extra extended single crochet (eesc): Insert hook into stitch indicated, pull up a loop, (yarn over, pull through 1 loop) 2 times, yarn over, pull through 2 loops.
Ch 8.
Row 1 – (eesc, ch 2, eesc) in the 8th ch from hook.
Row 2 – Ch 5 (counts as a eesc, ch 2 from here on), turn, eesc in the same eesc, ch 2, eesc in the next eesc, leave the t-ch unworked.
Row 3 – Ch 5, turn, skip the 1st eesc, eesc in the next eesc, ch 2, (eesc, ch 2, eesc) in the 3rd ch of the t-ch.
Row 4 – Ch 5, turn, eesc in the same eesc, *ch 2, eesc in the next eesc; repeat from * across, leave the t-ch unworked.
Row 5 – Ch 5, turn, skip 1st eesc, *dc in the next eesc, ch 2; repeat from * to the tch, (eesc, ch 2, eesc) in the 3rd ch of the t-ch.
Repeat rows 4 and 5 until desired length is reached, fasten off, weave in ends.
